FIREFIGHTERS were called after a light fitting overheated in a store room.
The incident was reported to Humberside Fire and Rescue Service shortly after 5pm today (Saturday, June 6).
It happened at a property on Chapel Lane in Barton-Upon-Humber.
The fire service said components in the light had melted due to the electrics and the damaged light fitting was removed by firefighters.
Crew members also isolated the electricity supply to the store room.
