Businesses are being encouraged to support a new campaign by the Humber Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP), aimed at boosting the local economy.
The Humber Skills Pledge is set to be launched after research showed more investment is needed to develop people's skills.
The LEP wants companies to back the pledge in the light of local and national research which found one fifth of UK economic growth is due to improvements in skills and training.
