A SCUNTHORPE woman has spoken of the day she met Margaret Thatcher, the same evening the former Prime Minister was involved in a bomb scare in 1985.
Pat Wells travelled to London for a fundraising event in Mrs Thatcher's Finchley constituency, after friend Hilda Hunt received a special invitation.
Mrs Hunt, of Glanville Avenue in Scunthorpe, received the invitiation from a friend in the Finchley constituency, and took Mrs Wells to take care of her.
