An alternative route for passenger is being explored by train company bosses after a landslip halted the service between Scunthorpe and Doncaster through the Isle of Axholme.
First TransPennine Express has confirmed that it wishes to run trains through Brigg and Kirton Lindsey while the Scunthorpe to Doncaster line is out of action because of the Stainforth and Hatfield landslide.
