A police training exercise took place in Kirton in Lindsey today (Thursday, April 25).Lincolnshire Police confirmed that specialist public order training for 20 new officers took place earlier today at the former RAF base in Kirton.A spokeswoman for Lincolnshire Police said: "A scenario was carried out where trainers played the roles of rioters."Rubber bullets were used for this scenario, which were thrown."No firearms were used."The exercise took place until 12.30pm today.
