ISLE of Axholme actress Sheridan Smith is set to discover whether she has won one of the biggest awards of her career.
The Epworth-born star is nominated for leading actress at tonight's (Sunday) BAFTA Television Awards.
Sheridan got the nod for her performance in the ITV drama Mrs Biggs, where she played Charmian, wife of the great train robber Ronnie Biggs.
She is up against Anne Reid (for Last Tango in Halifax), Rebecca Hall (Parade's End) and Sienna Miller (The Girl) for the prize.
