The famous Brigg Raft was officially welcomed back to the market town at a special ceremony.
And there on the historic day was an archaeologist who had helped to uncover the Bronze Age survivor during the 1970s.
Brigg Heritage Centre, located in the Angel complex off the Market Place, closed in February while the raft was being readied for display, but is now open again with the prize exhibit on show.
