Epworth actress Sheridan Smith has announced she will quit popular BBC drama Jonathan Creek - as the filming dates clash with her West End role.
Sheridan, who has played Jonathan's sidekick and paranormal investigator Joey Ross since 2009, pulled out because the dates clash with her role in A Midsummer Night's Dream.
Sheridan will star in the role of Titania in the West End production from September.
