A householder dealt with a fire in Collum Lane, Scunthorpe, yesterday afternoon (Monday, July 1).
Humberside Fire and Rescue Service said it involved faulty wires inside a microwave oven.
The problem was dealt with by the occupier of the property who isolated the power supply before the fire service arrived soon after 3pm.
