Union man for almost 70 years

A SCUNTHORPE man who was an active trade unionist for nearly 70 years has died.Kenneth Moody passed away peacefully at Scunthorpe General Hospital on Sunday, July 7, aged 90.The majority of his 70 years within the GMB union saw him work as the branch secretary and official for the Scunthorpe TEC branch of that union.In recent years, Mr Moody had also received a lifetime achievement award, recognising his decades of work within the trade union movement.Mr Moody's work included going to annual...
