THE last Stennett's market in Brigg is taking place today (Thursday July 25), ending an association of more than 90 years with the town.
The market has been running in the town since 1918 and for the last 26 years has been overseen by Ken Walker, who is retiring today.
North Lincolnshire Council, which owns the building where the market is run, looked for expressions of interest in the site following Mr Walker's decision to retire.
