Just 24 hours after we revealed Scunthorpe man Dave Long had scooped £1 million on the Euromillions lottery, another punter will be cursing their luck.
A National Lottery spokesman said a potential lottery winner has missed out on a £262,109 EuroMillions prize.
The prize remained unclaimed for more than 180 days after the draw took place on February 1 and the money, plus the interest it earned, has now passed to the National Lottery Good Causes fund.
