HUMBERSIDE Fire and Rescue Service responded to an incident of an unknown substance which caused the sole of a shoe to slightly decompose.
The incident took place just before 3.20pm today (Monday, August 5) on Station Road/Albert Street in Brigg.
Gas detection equipment was used by the Fire Service, but it was unable to ascertain the cause of the reaction on the shoe.
There was no further action taken by Fire Service.
