A DEER sustained serious injuries and was "humanely destroyed" after being struck by a car on the A18 Kingsway in Scunthorpe.
Humberside Police responded to an incident where a deer was injured by a car at 7.55am today (Thursday, August 8), close to the Berkeley Roundabout in Scunthorpe.
Unfortunately, the deer sustained serious injuries and police were called upon to humanely destroy the animal.
The local authority were asked to attend to collect the animal.
