A CYCLIST has died after coming off his bike.
Ian Cox (48), of Western Green, Winteringham, sustained serious injuries after coming off his bike on the A1084 at Bigby Hill, Bigby, near Brigg, at about 2.45pm yesterday.
The emergency services were on the scene soon after it was reported, and part of the road was closed, with traffic diverted through Somerby.
The injured man was air lifted to Hull Royal Infirmary.
Police today revealed Mr Cox had died as a result of his injuries.
