Humberside Police were called to the scene of a road traffic collision in Scunthorpe.
Police say the incident took place on Oswald Road shortly after 1pm today (November 18).
Traffic was said to be queuing back to Howden's Hill and police were advising motorists to avoid the area where possible.
Police said the incident caused heavy delays for motorists, but said no-one was seriously injured in the collision.
Delays are still being experienced in the area because of roadworks.
