A MAN tried to steal aluminium poles from an outbuilding at Scunthorpe General Hospital.Paul Cardy attempted to steal the poles from a building where he had parked his bike.The 32-year-old was stopped by hospital staff as he attempted to leave with the poles.Cardy, of Tensing Road in Scunthorpe, admitted burglary other than a dwelling, possessing cannabis and breaching a 12-month conditional discharge.Deb Gibson, prosecuting, told North Lincolnshire Magistrates' Court, Cardy had been visiting...
