HUNDREDS of people today lined the streets of Epworth to pay their respects to Anna Verrico, the mother-of-two who led an inspirational fight against breast cancer.
The funeral cortege weaved its way to the Epworth cemetery where 300 people gathered for a 40-minute tribute by the graveside.
The tributes were led by Anthony Smith, the best man at Anna's wedding in 1996.
He said: "The turnout indicated the level of respect and adoration shown by people for her."
