RESIDENTS in the Trentside village of Burringham are to be evacuated this afternoon as floods are expected.
North Lincolnshire Council officials have confirmed the move after a severe flood warning was issued for the village by the Environment Agency.
Severe warnings are the highest level of risk and mean severe flooding is expected and there could be a danger to life.
The Pods leisure centre in Scunthorpe is to be used as a rest centre for Burringham residents.
