SKIPS are said to be overflowing in Burringham, in the aftermath of flood water wreaking havoc in the village.
The village was badly affected by flooding on Thursday night after a tidal surge caused the River Trent to breach defences.
Residents were evacuated to The Pods leisure centre in Scunthorpe, but have now returned to their homes and started the clean-up operation.
