A FULL survey of the A1077 is being undertaken today by North Lincolnshire Council, to determine the extent of flood damage.
Humberside Police confirmed that the road "gave way" near Winteringham after being undermined by flood water from the River Humber, which burst its banks on Thursday evening.
It remains closed between South Ferriby and Winteringham, but the council is hoping to get the road open as soon as possible.
