CEMEX has vowed to return its factory at South Ferriby to full production, after floods devastated the village.
A tidal surge on Thursday night caused the River Humber to burst its banks, sending flood water throughout the village.
The cement works is said to have suffered no structural damage and workers are expected to return to the site soon.
