COMMUNITY spirit is helping South Ferriby residents get through the devastating floods.
Roy Holloway, chairman of South Ferriby Parish Council, said: "We have had a very good response from North Lincolnshire Council today.
"There are a lot of people in our village, and the council has been out with road sweepers and street cleaners. Liz Redfern has also been here to have a look around.
