FIREFIGHTERS rescued a two-year-old child who was trapped in a kitchen in Scunthorpe.
Humberside Fire and Rescue Service responded to the incident shortly before 9.45am this morning (Monday, June 16), at a property on Marsden Drive/Scotter Road in Scunthorpe.
The Fire Service confirmed the child was locked in the kitchen, but was released uninjured.
A spokeswoman said: "The Fire Service gained entry by removing a faulty lock from an internal door using small tools."
