Fire crews were called to rescue a person from a bedroom in Scunthorpe. Humberside Fire and Rescue were called to the property on Mavis Road, Scunthorpe at 7.42am when the person was rescued. Crews also attended Sheffield Street East in Scunthorpe at 1.45am after reports of a motor bike on fire.

One lane was closed on the M180 westbound following a single vehicle collision this afternoon. The lane was closed between junction 5 for Barnetby and junction 4 for Brigg following the accident at around 12.40pm. Humberside Police Roads Policing Team attended and moved the car to the hard shoulder - allowing the lane to be re-opened at around 1pm.
