Firefighters were called to Humberside Airport yesterday after reports of a blaze. The incident took place on Schiphol Way, Kirmington, yesterday (Thursday, December 20). The fire, caused by a hot plate igniting wax, was put out by occupiers of the premises using a dry powder extinguisher. Humberside firefighters then made the area safe before leaving the scene.
