A 15-year-old girl has died after suffering serious head injuries in a road accident near Brigg.
The girl, who has not been named by police, was on West Street, not far from Scawby Primary School, when she in collision with a blue Vauxhall Astra on Monday, May 12.
She was airlifted to Leeds General Infirmary at around 4.45pm on Monday and kept in intensive care.
Humberside Police have today issued a statement saying the girl died yesterday afternoon (Thursday).

Landscaping plan to improve Scunthorpe neighbourhood
North Lincolnshire Homes is seeking planning permission for environmental improvements to a Scunthorpe neighbourhood.
The social landlord wants to provide three communal landscaped courtyards, undertake planting, carry out path resurfacing and install new boundary fencing including hedges.
It is also planning to demolish six garages as part of the enhancement.
The site includes Barnes Crescent, Lockwood Close and Tomlinson Avenue.

UPDATE: 17 suspected stolen horses discovered in lorry on A18
Police have revealed that a man has been arrested after 17 horses were discovered in the back of a lorry stopped on the A18.
Police officers noticed the "potentially suspicious" vehicle at the Forest Pines roundabout, Broughton.
Investigations are being made into whether the horses are stolen. They are being cared for.
The man, who is in his thirties, is helping police with their inquiries.

FASHION retailer Fallen Hero's Scunthorpe store has gone into administration, the Scunthorpe Telegraph understands.
The Cole Street store is currently running a 50 per cent off closing down sale, although further details on its future have not been made public.
The company's Gainsborough store closed its doors last week.

MEMBERS at the Cole Street Club in Scunthorpe are weathering the storm after cutting back trading hours.
The club, which has been fully-owned by Sam Smith's Brewery since 1998, closes Mondays and Wednesdays and trades on Sundays only from noon until 5pm.
But brewery bosses are confident business will pick up next year when the nearby £12 million Humber University Technical College is opened.

Veteran comic Jethro drew a big crowd to the Scunthorpe Baths Hall last night (Thursday, May 15).
The master of mirth from the West Country entertained with a wide range of jokes old and new, and some amusing songs from his extensive repertoire.
He even added some local flavour with reference to the Riddings and Westcliff neighbourhoods of Scunthorpe.

100 cars queue behind cyclist in A18 Mortal Ash Hill roadworks
A cyclist in Scunthorpe held up 100 vehicles as he slowly pedalled his way up the coned-off A18 on Mortal Ash Hill.
It is believed he left the Tata Steel works at the Anchor exit and then, perfectly legally, began the long haul up the hill - in the middle of the only available lane.
Queues are also forming before other bike riders going up and down the hill, North Lincolnshire Council having reduced the carriageway to a single lane.

Friday update: Scunthorpe town centre bus crash
POLICE today said they were continuing to investigate the crash between a car and a bus in Scunthorpe town centre which left six people injured.
The incident happened at the traffic lights at the junction of Station Road, Oswald Road and Church Lane at around 10.53am yesterday.
Officers this morning confirmed six people were injured in the collision between the Stagecoach double-decker bus and the Lexus car.
