FIREFIGHTERS were called out to an incident where 20 metres of grass was on fire. Humberside Fire and Rescue Service received a call at 5.26pm last night (Friday, July 25), reporting that a tractor had hit a telegraph pole, causing electric wires to come down and spark. The Fire Service say this set fire to around 20 metres of grass on Commonside in Westwoodside. Northern Powergrid attended the scene to make the electric supply safe.
