14 new homes approved for Scunthorpe pub site
North Lincolnshire Council has approved a planning application to build 14 new homes on the site once occupied by a well-known pub.
Planners have now approved a revised scheme resubmitted for the former Poacher site in Marsden Drive, Scunthorpe.

Assault by beating: Scunthorpe man sentenced
The following offender was dealt with at the Court Centre in Laneham Street, Scunthorpe, with North Lincolnshire magistrates hearing the matter and passing sentence:
MARK GARY MUIR, 33, of Alexandra Road, Scunthorpe, pleaded guilty to assault by beating. He was given a six-month community order with a supervision requirement, fined £250, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £60 and costs of £85.

SCUNTHORPE United have opened their Glanford Park car park to shoppers at the new North Lincolnshire Shopping Park today – for a £3 fee.
