Further misery on M180 after lorry catches fire
THERE are further problems on the M180 this morning (Monday) after a lorry caught fire.
The motorway has been littered with problems over the weekend, with various closures causing misery for motorists.
At around 6.30am the fire service was called to a stretch of the motorway after a small fire involving the prop shaft of a heavy goods vehicle.

Roadworks cause delay on main Scunthorpe road
Roadworks are causing drivers significant delays on one of the main roads in Scunthorpe.
Temporary traffic lights have been installed to accommodate the work taking place on Brigg Road, by the entrance to Tata Steel, to fix an issue with street lighting.

FURTHER delays are expected on the M180 this evening (Monday) due to emergency repairs.
A high traffic alert has been issued for the westbound carriageway as two lanes are closed for emergency repairs at junction 2 at Epworth and Crowle.

Scunthorpe looks set for another grey day after waking up to rain on Sunday morning.
The rain is expected to last until around midday, allowing plenty of surface water to build up on the region's roads.
