A WOMAN who became trapped in a car today after after it crashed into a tree. Humberside Fire and Rescue had to remove the rear seat of the car to release the woman, who was placed on a long board and put in an ambulance. The incident happened at about 6am this morning (Monday, February 23) on Shore Road in Garthorpe. Fire crews then disconnected the vehicle battery.

FIREFIGHTERS were called to a blaze at a garage in Scunthorpe this evening (Monday, February 23). The incident happened in a detached garage at a property on Buckingham Avenue at around 8.15pm.
