Stretch of A18 to be closed for ONE MONTH
A section of the busy A18 in North Lincolnshire is to be closed to traffic overnight for four weeks.
This is to allow work to be carried out to a bridge.
The A18 in Melton Ross will be closed from February 13 to March 13, between 11pm and 9am.
The affected stretch is from the junction with the B1211 over the railway bridge for 460 metres.
North Lincolnshire Council says this must be done "to facilitate the installation of remedial propping measures underneath the railway bridge."

A SCUNTHORPE man who posted a video of him having sex with a woman on Facebook has been jailed.
Thomas Ormsby, 18, wanted the woman to suffer "as much pain as possible" by posting the video, a court was told.
He admitted disclosing private sexual photographs and films with intent to cause distress at Hull Magistrates' Court.

A shop showcasing the work of local artists and traders has opened in Scunthorpe.
It has opened on the back of The Meanwhile Project, which aims to promote local crafts people and artists, and give them a platform to sell.
In addition to selling vintage products, the Meanwhile shop on Ravendale Street sells homeware items created from recycled materials.

THE Humber Bridge is again closed to high-sided vehicles today due to strong winds.
The Highways Agency said it is also closed to caravans, motorcycles, towed vehicles, buses and coaches.
Wind speeds are expected to reach highs of 38mph today (Tuesday, February 2).
