A TEENAGER who fell into a coma woke to tell her mum: I love you.
Brook Charlesworth, 16, from Scunthorpe, was admitted to hospital. Her mum Vicky was told her heart had stopped and Brook, who was 15 at the time, went into a coma after being diagnosed with type 1 diabetes.
However, the Frederick Gough pupil fought through and finally awoke eight days later.
Now Brook is hoping to raise awareness of the condition and funds have been raised on her behalf.
