NEW measures will be announced soon by Tata Steel to lessen the impact on long-serving employees who are nearing retirement age following the company's decision to axe the final salary pension scheme.
The climb-down came in response to the news that members of Brtain's biggest trade union Unite have voted in favour of joining the strike action.
