EAST Midlands Ambulance Service has been given the green light to go ahead with a reorganisation of its service.
It will now continue to develop plans to create nine hubs, one of which will be in Scunthorpe.
Plans were halted following a proposal put forward through a public consultation exercise in March this year.
The reorganisation was initially put on ice after a review into the EMAS public consultation was called for by the Lincolnshire Health Scrutiny Committee.
