A North Lincolnshire businessman has bought a hostelry and is pledging to turn it into the number one restaurant in the area.
Peter Carter, 59, and his wife Vida have bought the freehold of the King William IV pub at Scawby Brook, near Brigg, from Punch Taverns.
The Carters, who have previously run the Dying Gladiator and Nelthorpe Arms, Brigg, and the Queens Head, North Kelsey, plan to make the King Billy the number one restaurant in the area.
