Barton Band hopes to stage a memorial concert for teenager Koen Allwood who died after being hit by a vehicle in the town.
Coun Jon Evison, the manager of the Barton Town Brass Band in which Koen was a cornet player in the youth section, said a memorial concert would be arranged as a tribute if his family and friends considered it to be appropriate.
Mr Evison said: "I knew Koen well. He was in the band for five years.
