A retired man has bought the freehold of a well-known North Lincolnshire pub which has been closed for some months.
And he has now announced a pre-Christmas date for the grand reopening.
Retired welding inspector Alan Hancock has bought The Shires pub at Kirton in Lindsey for an undisclosed six-figure sum.
