THE future of one of Scunthorpe High Street's most popular bars, Abacus, and its employees are in doubt after the owners went into administration.
Offers to purchase the remainder of the 25-year leasehold on the six-year-old pub are being sought by auctioneers Christie and Co by 5pm today (Thursday, November 28).
Would-be purchasers have been told they may be required to enter into a licence to occupy The Abacus on or after this Monday (December 2).
