HUNDREDS of people today turned out to celebrate the life of a much-loved and respected teacher and sportsman.
Family and friends were joined by staff and students from Sir John Nelthorpe School to commemorate the life of Adrian Gibbons.
The schoolteacher died suddenly on Tuesday, March 11 aged 63 and his funeral was held this afternoon at St John's Church in Brigg.
Mr Gibbons had worked at the school for over 30 years and it is estimated that around 600 people attended the service.
