Ricardo Silva, 34, won the Body Building UK (BBUK) Open competition at the Wortley House Hotel in Scunthorpe on April 13.
Coroners confirmed they had received a report of Mr Silva's death and are currently looking into it.

Police are appealing for help in locating a man who has been reported missing in Barton.
A statement from Humberside Police said:
Stefan King, 36, from Barton was reported missing to police just after 11am on Thursday, April 24 after his employer was concerned that he had not turned up for work.

New steam locomotive No 2007 Prince of Wales is taking shape after the rolling of its frames at Tata Steel in Scunthorpe.
Coinciding with St George's Day, a new fire-breathing dragon was born in the rolling mills.

Live-in perk withdrawn from bar manager
Officials at a Scunthorpe social club have decided the job of bar manager will no longer come with live-in accommodation.

A MAN has appeared in court charged with causing the death of Barton-Upon-Humber teenager Koen Allwood by dangerous driving.
Damien James Benson, 23, of High Street, Barton, appeared at North Lincolnshire Magistrates' Court on Tuesday (April 29).

A benefit cheat has been jailed after fiddling more than £22,800 by pretending her children were still living with her.
She "buried her head in the sand" and did not tell the authorities about the matter, a court heard.
Lisa Taylor, 26, of Scotter Road, Scunthorpe, admitted four offences of making false statements to obtain benefit and another of failing to notify a change in her circumstances.
