A Scunthorpe bar will close on Sunday, June 29 after 77 years' trading - due to rising debts.
The decision to shut was taken at a special meeting of members.
Pam Johns, Scunthorpe Coronation Club's steward for the past 17 years, said: "I am gutted. But it has been on the cards for the past five years. I think we have done quite well to carry on under the circumstances.
"We have been taking around £1,100 a week over the bar when we need double that to pay all the bills."

Whistleblowers inquiry: Patient's death in 'cluster' of care...
WHISTLEBLOWERS have prompted investigations into the death of a patient at Scunthorpe General Hospital and a cluster of other care concerns.

Historic pub plans to reopen
Approval is being sought from North Lincolnshire Council to reopen an historic pub.
The new owners, Dr Phil Harrison and Sue Rainton, want their hostelry to trade from 10am until 12.30am Sunday to Thursday, and until 1.30am on Friday and Saturday.
The couple bought the Nelthorpe Arms site in Bridge Street, Brigg, in January to transform the outbuildings into a health and safety research centre.

Wetherspoon pub to get beer garden
A JD Wetherspoon pub in North Lincolnshire is to get a beer garden, as long as local council planners are happy with the development.
A planning application has been submitted, seeking approval - and is now under consideration.
Wetherspoons want to create the beer garden at the back of the White Horse pub in Wrawby Street, Brigg, which it has just bought from a rival chain.
The hostelry has since been closed to customers and boarded up, awaiting refurbishment.

Flying Scotsman on track for Scunthorpe visit to thank Tata Steel
WORK is said to be progressing well on the restoration of the Flying Scotsman locomotive ahead of its visit to Scunthorpe next year.
The 91-year-old loco, which was the first in the world to clock up a speed of 100mph, was originally due to visit the town in October 2011.
But the restoration work has taken much longer than expected.
The visit is a thank you to the town's Tata Steel works for its help in restoring the Scotsman to its former glory.
