DISCOUNT supermarket chain Aldi has come under fire after staff at its Ashby High Street store were spotted throwing packaged items into a skip.
Shopper Zoe Mitchell said she saw staff disposing of items including boots, shoes, slippers, drills and screwdrivers earlier this month and felt they should instead be donated to charity.

Three parents have been sentenced by North Lincolnshire Magistrates, in Scunthorpe, over their children's school attendance.
All were fined and had to pay costs.

FORECASTERS are predicting a cold start to the Scunthorpe area this morning (Friday, January 23).
The Met Office say temperatures will stay below 0 until 10am.
This afternoon is expected to be sunnier, but rain will hit at around 3pm and will continue into the evening.
