TWO men and a woman have appeared in court this afternoon (Wednesday, April 15) charged in relation to human trafficking offences.Afrida Sangar, 20, of Mary Street, Scunthorpe, and Khater Miahkel, 21, of Parkinson Avenue, Scunthorpe, were charged with two counts of human trafficking, two counts of sexual assault and one count of supplying cannabis. POLICE have released more details after a car crash in Scunthorpe left two people in hospital. The incident happened on Mannaberg Way yesterday (Wednesday, April 15) at around 12.45pm and involved two cars. Humberside Police said two people were taken to Scunthorpe General Hospital and it led to a closure of the road over lunchtime. RAIL passengers face delays travelling between Doncaster and Scunthorpe this morning (Thursday, April 16) due to a fault with equipment. First TransPennine Express said there is a problem with side-line equipment and trains have to "run at reduced speed" on some lines.
