A MAN has been rescued after a fire at a flat in Scunthorpe. Firefighters from Humberside Fire and Rescue Service were called to a property on Crosby Road in the town shortly before 5.45pm yesterday (Wednesday, May 3). THE trust which runs Scunthorpe General Hospital has responded to the issue of bed blocking. As of February 1, 2017, there were 36 patients with a delayed discharge at Scunthorpe. In total, their delays totalled 36 days, with the longest being 10 days.
