HUMBER Bridge traffic is continuing to increase, according to new figures. Data from the Humber Bridge Board shows a total of 630,268 vehicles crossed the bridge in the four weeks to Sunday (May 31). That represented an increase of 41,961 when compared to the same period of last year.

FIREFIGHTERS were called after a light fitting overheated in a store room. The incident was reported to Humberside Fire and Rescue Service shortly after 5pm today (Saturday, June 6). It happened at a property on Chapel Lane in Barton-Upon-Humber.
