A TEENAGER who fell into a coma woke to tell her mum: I love you.
Brook Charlesworth, 16, from Scunthorpe, was admitted to hospital. Her mum Vicky was told her heart had stopped and Brook, who was 15 at the time, went into a coma after being diagnosed with type 1 diabetes.
However, the Frederick Gough pupil fought through and finally awoke eight days later.

NEW measures will be announced soon by Tata Steel to lessen the impact on long-serving employees who are nearing retirement age following the company's decision to axe the final salary pension scheme.

Helicopter crash: Lincolnshire man dies on Isle of Man
A LINCOLNSHIRE man has died in a helicopter crash on the Isle of Man.
Matthew Chapman, 48, was the pilot of the privately-owned Bell Jetranger and was the only person on-board the helicopter when the incident happened in high winds at around 9am yesterday (Saturday, June 6).
Mr Chapman, from Louth, had dropped off two passengers before the accident, which happened on a hillside in the Baldwin Valley on the island, which is currently hosting the TT motorcycle races.

UPDATE: Road closed after crash
A ROAD has been closed after a crash in North Lincolnshire this evening (Sunday, June 7).
Emergency services have been called to the incident, which has happened on the B1207 near Appleby.
